a temporary shield

It's  hard some days to tell you things. Explain in a way you'll understand. I try my best to shield your eyes until I can come up with the words to tell you why. Adults are supposed to have the answers. There must be a book a fable a tale to explain. Maybe a word that will allow you to understand. Even adults are lost with information abundant and in hand. Travel this world like you know what you're doing. People will follow and hide their confusion. You will push forward through the fog enlightening the ones who follow. Until they take the lead to do the same. They'll realize then you hardly knew your own name and the path that you traveled was harder than it seemed. You followed me then and now know why you must lead.
